SEE WHAT OUR VOLUNTEER TEAMS ARE UP TO!

REBUILD GALLERY

OPERATION ANCHOR has committed to providing free housing to folks whose home was condemned by the storm. Our first project was a home in Green Mountain, NC, that was occupied by a couple and their children.

The couple passed during the storm, but their children were not home and survived at family’s home. This property was owned by their brother, and he has allowed us to demo the old home and build a duplex in its place, offering free rent to those displaced by Helene while their homes are being fixed.

This home is scheduled to be completed by Dec 15th and families can move into it soon! This rebuild was fully donor funded and was made possible by material and financial contributions! This is just one of many home we plan to provide for FREE to these families who have lost so much!

REPAIRS GALLERY

SOME HOMES that were affected by Helene are fixable! Sometimes, FEMA or other assistance programs don’t fully cover the cost of repairs, though. Operation Anchor provides material and labor as needed to help these families get their homes livable again.

TEMP HOUSING GALLERY

THERE ARE MANY REASONS SOMEONE MAY NEED TEMPORARY HOUSING IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES.

They may have been renting, and their rental home was damaged, or maybe their owned home is no longer livable. Either way, Operation Anchor is here to help by providing campers and tiny homes to these people while they await longer term solutions. If they owned a home, Operation Anchor is helping them fix or rebuild.

OTHER MISSIONS GALLERY

OUR VOLUNTEERS come with a variety of skill sets! Those without specific construction or skilled labor skills help us out with other projects around the community.

Operation Anchor has assisted with mucking out homes, tree removal, debris cleanup, and more!
